When Nick's daughter was born, his partner Dawn was having some post-labor difficulties. She couldn't do the skin to skin bonding that the obstetrician said was critical to the first moments of Eva's life. Knowing the magnitude of the situation he promptly ripped off his shirt and held his daughter closely on his chest knowing he would love her for the rest of his life. Once home, he continued to hold her close but soon tired of never being able to wear a shirt and even went so far as to cut holes in his shirts. That's when the Bonderoo was born. He's convinced that bonding made him a better dad and can make other men better dads as well. Now he wants to share this idea with the world!
